HOW DO I PAY FOR MY ITEMS?

Renaissance Consignment Boutiques accepts Paypal. Paypal is a safe and secure way to pay with your Visa, MasterCard, or American Express. Renaissance Consignment Boutique will direct you to Paypal's website when processing your payment. There is no fee to use Paypal. Sales tax of 8% will be added to all items shipped in Alabama. You will receive an e-mail confirming your order within 24 business hours.

SHIPPING & HANDLING

DOMESTIC SHIPPING

All merchandise will be shipped within 48 business hours after receiving payment. All items will be fully insured for the total cost of your items, taxes if applicable and shipping charges. This insurance will cover your items against loss, theft and damage during shipment. Some conditions apply to insurance reimbursements. ed when shipped. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

We ship internationally to many countries with the exceptions of countries due to security reasons. At this time we are unable to ship to Nigeria or Indonesia. RCB reserves the right to deny shipment to other countries. Orders shipped outside the United States (excluding Canada) incur a rate of $50. - $60. Depending on the value of the item. International shipments (excluding Canada) are shipped Via USPS Global Priority. Please email us for information about your country.

Shipments to Canada Orders shipping to Canada are processed and charged that same rates of domestic orders.

Custom Fees International orders may (and most probably will) attract customs fees and import duties payable to the country where it was delivered. Any additional charges incurred are to be paid directly by the customer. Unfortunately we cannot estimate these costs for you as they vary greatly from country to country.

LAYAWAY POLICIES

What is Layaway?

Layaway is a service provided by Renaissance Consignment for customers who would like to pay for their purchases over time. Unlike Credit cards, Layaway does not incur any interest or finance charges. Renaissance provides this service to our customers because you are important to us and we thank you for your continued business support. Shop as you normally would, as any item $50.00 or more is eligible to be put on layaway. We will then contact you with instructions on how to proceed.

How Long can my items stay in layaway?

We have 30 and 60-day layaways. Both require a 30% deposit. For the 30-day layaway, the balance is due on day 30. For the 60-day layaway, you pay another 30% on day 30 and the balance on day 60. Any layaway can be completed early by paying in full. Additional deposits may be made at any time prior to or on the date the layaway is opened.

When will you ship my Layaway items?

We will then ship them within 48 hours of receipt of full payment. Sales tax and shipping charges are not calculated for the minimum deposit. The total amount of sales tax and shipping charges if any will be calculated when the final payment is made to complete.

How Do I make layaway payments?

We accept credit cards via PayPal, and over the phone at 205-980-4471. The layaway period begins on the date that an item is placed on hold.

How do Layaway Returns work?

Layaway returns are eligible for store credit only.

What happens if I cancel my layaway?

Any cancelled layaway will result in any deposits becoming store credit less a $25.00 restocking fee for each item cancelled. Store credits resulting from a canceled layaway may not be used as another layaway deposit. For each layaway, a new deposit is required.

What happens if I default on my Layaway?

Additional payments not received by the end of business on the 30th day or final payments not received by the end of business on the 60th day will result in a defaulted layaway. By a layaway being defaulted, the items are returned to the system and sales floor and made available for sale to the public. Layaway deposits made on the items defaulted are forfeited by the customer as non-refundable and non-transferable. Layaways do not qualify for sales, discounts, markdowns, special promotions or price adjustments and will be charged the price marked on the initial day the layaway was initiated We reserve the right to deny layaway to anyone or everyone. RETURN POLICY


Renaissance Consignment Online Boutique purchases are backed by a 7 day exchange or store-credit policy. Store credit is valid for 1 year and may be used both in the retail store and online. Please note that all markdown merchandise and Layaway’s are a Final Sale, no exchanges, no returns, and no exceptions. All Accessories (Jewelry, Belts and Scarves) are not eligible for refund.

Returns and exchanges are accepted on items purchased online ONLY that HAVE NOT BEEN WORN, USED, ALTERED OR WASHED, and with ALL tags/authenticity card/receipts and paperwork attached. Please follow the return/exchange instructions below.

RETURN INSTRUCTIONS


Repackage your return securely in a box comparable to the one you received your item in.
Download the Return Authorization Form
. This form must be filled out completely, and included with your return. Returns without the return authorization number clearly visible on the outside of the package will be refused.
· Renaissance Consignment Boutique is not responsible for any shipping charges, which occur from a return. All return shipping charges must be prepaid. We will not accept C.O.D. deliveries.
· All products must be unused and undamaged, and with all tags and accessories attached to ensure a full credit. We reserve the right to refuse a refund request if it does not comply with this policy. .

· Keep the Return Tracking Number from the package you are returning to ensure that the package is not lost.
· Customers can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase if the item is returned within 7 business days after the item has been received. All orders returned after that time period will be denied.

RETURN RESTRICTIONS


When shipping a return, you must include a copy of the receipt. Be certain to save copies for your records.

Shipping and handling costs are non-refundable.

Sale items are non-returnable, no exceptions.
